When It Rains, It Pours… and Then the Phone Rings
A little peek behind the scenes at what happens after you call in a roof leak.
You know how it goes around here.
The sky gets dark. The bottom falls out. It rains all night, rains the next morning, takes a short coffee break just long enough to give everybody hope… and then starts raining again.
And somewhere during all of that, somebody looks up and says the four words nobody wants to hear:
“Uh-oh. We have a leak.” So, you call us…But have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes after that call?
Your Call Sets a Lot Into Motion
Once a leak is reported, there’s quite a bit happening that you may never see.
Our office gathers the details about what you’re seeing and where, checks the history we have on your roof, and gets that information into the hands of our service team.
From there, we’re coordinating schedules, watching the weather, communicating with our crews, reviewing photos and previous repairs when available, and figuring out the best way to address each situation.
When our crews arrive, they aren’t just looking at the spot where you saw water. Roof leaks can be sneaky little things, and water doesn’t always show up inside directly below where it entered. Our team looks at the bigger picture and works to determine what may actually be causing the problem.
And yes, when Southeast Texas gets into one of those stretches where the rain just will. not. quit., things can get pretty busy behind the scenes.
But when the weather gives us an opportunity?
It’s GO, GO, GO!
Our office is coordinating, our crews are moving, and everyone is working together to take care of each service call as thoroughly and efficiently as we can.
There are even times when our crews are working between storms, taking advantage of the breaks in the weather to get out there and take care of our customers. Behind the scenes, we’re watching the radar, adjusting schedules, communicating with our crews, and doing everything we reasonably can to keep things moving.
It may look like just another rainy day from the outside, but behind the scenes, there’s a whole lot happening to make sure you’re taken care of.
More Than 50 Years of Answering Those Calls
For more than 50 years, customers have trusted us with those “Uh-oh, we have a leak” phone calls—and we don’t take that trust lightly.
Every building, every roof, and every situation is a little different. There may be phone calls you don’t hear, schedules being rearranged that you never see, or a crew going the extra mile behind the scenes.
But through it all, the goal remains the same:
Take care of our customers.
We want you to know that when you call us, there are real people on the other end working hard to address your needs and doing our best to go above and beyond when needed.
Because your roof leak isn’t just another name on a list.
It’s someone counting on us—and we never forget that.
So, if the rain starts falling and you look up to discover those dreaded four words—“Uh-oh. We have a leak.”—give us a call.
We’ll get to work. Just like we have for more than 50 years.
